Privacyhub.in is an open source and collaborative effort to grade and assess various privacy policies for usability, accountability, and convenience
We believe that online privacy is a fundamental right for all individuals. With the increasing amount of personal information being shared online, it is important for individuals to have a clear understanding of how their data is being used and protected.
To help address this issue, we have initiated an opensource project to track the online privacy of various apps primarily available and being widely used in India. Through this project, we aim to provide a score for each app, based on various factors such as the app's privacy policies, data collection practices, and security measures.
By providing this information to the public, we hope to empower individuals to make informed decisions about the apps they use and to hold app developers accountable for protecting their users' privacy. We also hope to encourage app developers to prioritize the privacy of their users, in order to improve the overall security and trustworthiness of the digital ecosystem.
We believe that by collaborating and sharing information through this open-source project, we can all play a role in protecting online privacy and ensuring that the digital world is a safe and secure place for all.
As a Not for Profit and Opensource group, Privacyhub.in is always looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team of contributors and volunteers.
We value diversity and welcome contributions from people of all backgrounds and skill levels. Whether you are a web developer, UI/UX designer, student, researcher, legal / privacy expert or simply someone who cares about online privacy, we would love to have you on board.
Together, we can make a real impact and work towards a safer and more secure digital world.
